Tips to keep swimwear and beach ponchos looking great!
At Swim Essentials, we take pride in our high-quality children’s swimwear, which is partly produced in our own studio. But how can you make sure it always looks its best?
Here are some simple tips to keep your kids’ swimwear and beach ponchos clean and fresh—so they’ll last longer and keep looking great!
Washing instructions for swimwear
Rinse swimwear immediately after use in cold water to remove chlorine, salt, and dirt. Gently squeeze out the excess water and let it dry in a dry spot.
Wash your swimwear by hand or on a delicate cycle in the washing machine using cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, or enzymatic detergents, as these can damage the fabric.
What to avoid
Avoid using a tumble dryer, as heat can reduce the elasticity of the fabric. Hang the swimwear to dry in the shade or on a drying rack. And make sure not to dry swimwear in direct sunlight, as UV rays can weaken the fabric.
Washing instructions for beach ponchos
Always read the care label on your beach poncho before washing it. Some ponchos can only be hand-washed, while others can go in the washing machine.
Use a mild detergent and a delicate program if machine washing. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or enzymatic detergents.
For best results
If handwashing, first soak the beach poncho in cold water with a mild detergent. Then rinse it thoroughly and lay it flat to dry.
Avoid using tumble dryers, irons, or steamers, as heat can damage the fabric. By following these simple tips, your little one’s swimwear and poncho will stay looking bright and beautiful!
