OUR DREAM | Circular Business Operations
By 2030, we want to be fully circular. This means we strive for zero waste, from the materials we use to the way we produce and ship. Every part of our process is becoming more sustainable step by step. And although we are not there yet, we are determined to realize our dream. Together with you, we ensure that swimming, enjoying, and caring for our planet form the perfect combination.
RECYCLED | Stylish and Sustainable
Our new swimwear collection is about more than just style. The entire 2025 collection is made from recycled materials. These products are GRS certified, which means they meet strict requirements for sustainability and good working conditions. The clothing is made from 100% recycled cotton and polyester. Additionally, we have reused leftover materials to transform them into new, unique products. Less waste, more style!
PVC | The Most Sustainable Inflatables
Our iconic inflatable products are made from the most sustainable PVC available today. We know that PVC production poses challenges for the environment, and that’s why we do everything we can to apply the most eco-friendly production techniques and keep our impact as small as possible.
Currently, it is not possible to produce fully recycled PVC items. Older PVC products were not designed to be easily and cleanly recycled, making reuse difficult. Moreover, the production process is so polluting that it even has negative effects on the environment.
But we are not standing still! It is already possible to recycle our latest PVC products and make things like flip-flops from them.
It remains a challenge, but together with our factories, we are working hard on smart, innovative solutions to make recycling even better and more environmentally friendly in the future. Let's go green, step by step!
MADE IN HOLLAND | Local & Responsible
Did you know that part of our swimwear is made in our own sewing workshop in 's-Hertogenbosch? By producing locally, we significantly reduce our ecological footprint. We avoid long transports and can also guarantee that work is done under fair and good conditions. This way, we have direct control over every detail of the production process and can quickly respond to improvements. Sustainable and top quality – we are proud of that! 🇳🇱
SOCIAL IMPACT | Stronger Together
In our sewing workshop, it’s not just about sustainable production, but also about social impact. We provide opportunities for people distanced from the labor market, such as refugees rebuilding their lives in the Netherlands. We not only offer them a safe working environment but also help them develop valuable skills. Our mission goes beyond sustainable production; we also want to make a positive social impact.

DREAMGOALS | Sustainable future
- We have ambitious goals and continue to challenge ourselves to do better. Here are some steps we want to take in the coming years:
1. From 2026, our entire clothing line will consist of recycled materials.
2. All shipping packaging will be made from recycled material starting in 2026.
3. In 2027, we will move to a fully energy-neutral office building.
4. By 2030, our entire collection will be circular.
5. We will continue to work on innovative techniques to recycle PVC.
6. We are exploring the possibility of shipping our products directly from the factory to the destination country, without stops. Less transport means less emissions!
7. At Swim Essentials, we are determined to become more sustainable every day.
